Our Story

The Bean Archives is brought to you by Matthias and Bryan, two avid home brewers who almost didn't meet.

Bryan had just moved to Durham, NC from Copenhagen, Denmark two weeks prior, while Matthias was one work meeting away from skipping Regalia's East Coast Tour hosted by Yonder Coffee.

Fate intervened, allowing the connection to happen, and an unbreakable bond over coffee began to form, culminating in an Instagram account archiving all the coffees we brewed and enjoyed for all to journey along with.

The Bean Archives Subscription is inspired by Triangle's specialty coffee community. Their curiosity and eagerness to expand their palates often leads to amusing consequences: freezers bursting with beans, overwhelming group orders and piles of smell-proof bags repeatedly sealed and resealed during repackaging.

We wanted to find a way to cater to coffee enthusiasts’ quest for variety, so we returned to our roots by partnering with Caleb at Yonder Coffee. Together, we now offer a service featuring six unique coffees each month from various roasters, origins, processing and varietals from around the world.

Our format of six 60g bags ensures you can finally get through your beans (hello, freezer space!).
