What can we say. There's just too much good coffee out there. Picking these add-ons was extra hard and this month we decided to cover the spectrum: washed, honey, natural, cofermy - clean, funky, decaf - Panama, Colombia, Rwanda.
People Possession (Paris): Blueberry Pie Magic
It's back!! One of our most beloved funky features ever (last October). It was so popular, we frequently heard from folks wanting more. Well it's been over 6 months so we figured for one, there are many new folks that haven't gotten to try it and two, some of y'all might want more! And if you're unsure, just ask in our discord ;) This coffee is the one that sold a lot of us on the idea of a co-ferment blend where one component is not a coferment. It's magical.

Datura (Paris): Hacienda La Esmeralda Trapiche 2 AFB Gesha Washed
Datura again? Yes that's right! The Alo from April was a big hit and there's another main feature that we cannot pass up on. In April we did a last-minute Datura add-on addition, which meant not everyone was able to take advantage of it. We're excited to have them back.
This lot is one that the Datura team selected in-person in March. If you follow their Instagram, you saw how they cupped it onsite. That's pretty cool, especially with this quick turnaround!

Datura (Paris): Lérida - Esplendorosa Estate Gesha Honey
We selected this lot directly at the farm during our trip to Panama, the most floral and complex on the table. The kind of profile that immediately draws us in.
From hot to cold, it moves through layers of florals, opening on orange blossom and jasmine, then settling into an elegant rose note as it cools.
A light yuzu note throughout, bringing brightness and complexity. Silky texture, great balance, a beautifully elegant cup.

Remember Sandbox? The same German friend that recommended them to us also vouched for Kolo. This add-on lot won second place in the non-washed auction in Best of Rwanda last year.

From Kolo: Its Like real Kenya but Decaf, we try to save origin flavor profile during the roast and actually works !
We must admit that we have never had a Kenyan decaf. So this is definitely a wildcard!
