Brew tips
1:16 ratio, 91C water, 550 microns. We really love the floral and tea-like notes of this coffee and the recipe leans into those. If you want a more balanced cup that's less floral, break the recipe into 4 or 5 pours instead of 3.
More info
Finca La Maria is an amazing farm project built by Emilcen Sanchez and Orlando Ospina in 2015.
They are a perfect example of skilled couple in coffee industry, as she brings her entrepreneur touch and he supports the project with his agronomist background.
The farm seats at 1,550+ masl with a unique microclimate of constant rainfall allows them to meticulously pick two times a month year around.
They’ve became quite famous with their classic natural geisha, and we are proud to introduce this washed geisha to you, which offers delicate and complex floral aromas such as black tea and jasmine, with balanced apricot and peach notes.
